Sustain (London Food Link)
"By partnering with SciTech Challenges, London Food Link looks forward to solving some of the technological challenges presented by the safe and sustainable supply of food to the 2012 Games.
London 2012 could make us proud by offering the tastiest, most sustainable and healthiest food ever provided at an Olympics."

Sustain: the alliance for better food and farming
London Food Link was established in 2001. It runs a network of organisations and individuals with members as diverse as caterers, food businesses, farmers, food writers, and community food projects. London Food Link is part of Sustain: the alliance for better food and farming.
It is a network of community organisations, businesses and individuals, working to increase the amount of sustainable food available in the capital, to tackle barriers preventing access to healthy food for all Londoners, and to celebrate London's diverse and vibrant food culture.
London Food Link is now working with LOCOG (the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games) to develop a sustainable food strategy for the 'games-time' part of the Olympics; while with the Mayoral London Food Board, we are also in discussions with the ODA (Olympics Delivery Authority) to ensure that sustainable is considered during the construction and legacy of the 2012 Games.
Feeding the Olympics
In partnership with the Soil Association and New Economics Foundation, Sustain authored this report as a call to action for everyone involved in catering for the London 2012 Olympic Games, to ensure that the food served before, during and after the Games is local, seasonal and organic as was promised in London's bid.
