About Circus Media Centre (CMC):
Circus Media's mission is to help traverse traditional barriers of entry to the broadcast industry. Launched in 2000 by NewVic, it was awarded the Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in Digital and Broadcast. It provides:

CMC Production Equipment
CMC has a range of industry-standard production equipment includes DV, HDV and the new DVC Pro HD cameras (HVX 200). We also have the newly acquired Movietube, as well as a wide range of lenses, filters, lighting and grip equipment.

CMC Post Production Suite
Circus Media is equipped with state-of-the-art post production studios which as well as facilitating courses are available for dry hire. G5 Macs run the latest software including Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Pro Tools, Shake and a range of other packages all linked through a highly sophisticated Xraid storage system. Our suites have been set up
to edit from DV to HDV natively, minimising compression and maximising final quality. Each machine is specified individually to reflect different formats as well as various stages in the post production workflow.
